FlightPass rules
1. Eligibility: FlightPasses are available to citizens and permanent residents of non-European
countries.
Passengers travelling on European nationality passports will be refused travel
at these fares. Tickets must be purchased prior to leaving Australia.
Passengers may travel to/from Europe on any carrier. No minimum or maximum
purchase limits apply.
2. FlightPass Routings:
2.1 Refer to the drop-down list above for the available routings & gross
levels.
2.2 No minimum nor maximum purchase limits apply, and no mileage or zone
calculations.
2.3 Only specified flights operated and marketed by the participating airlines
are valid, ie code-shared flights are not valid except where specifically stated
otherwise.
3. FlightPass Reservations:
3.1 Make bookings for all carriers in your CRS. Refer to the dropdown list above
for the applicable carrier codes & booking classes shown on the right. Your PNR
must include the following OSIs (or equivalent) to all relevant airlines at the time of making
the reservation:
OSI xx FOP EUROPE BY
AIR TICKET
OSI xx COLLECT TAXES AT AIRPORT CHECKIN
(Adjust these entries to suit your CRS format. Change xx for the applicable
airline(s) eg GR, 0D etc)
3.2 Note that for same-day connections between different airlines,
passengers must clear customs if necessary and enter the transit country to pay taxes for the second flight landside since the airlines do not have
sales/ticket desks in the transit area - check if your clients require visas.
4. Taxes: Standard taxes/surcharges apply and are not included. Passengers pay applicable taxes/surcharges at the airline ticket sales
counter prior to check-in. (This allows for more flexibility if passengers
change their routing as the ticket does not have to be reissued as a BSP ticket
would).
5. Validity: Minimum: nil Maximum: 120 days.
6. Stopovers: Not applicable.
7. Discounts: Children and infants discounts not applicable.
8. Baggage: Standard airline baggage rules apply for both checked baggage and cabin baggage.
The standard checked baggage allowance applies. Children & infants paying the
adult FlightPass rate get a seat as well as the full adult baggage allowance.
9. Payment and Ticketing:
9.1
FlightPasses are paper tickets which can only be issued by Europe by Air. Payment needs to be made at least 2 wks prior to departure from Australia/New
Zealand. Additionally, depending on
seasonal demand, some carriers may send a Ticketing Timelimit which of course must be complied with to prevent the PNR being cancelled.
9.2 Nett Payment is by
internet transfer, MoneyDirect (STARWRLD), or eNett (300505). Payment by
Mastercard/Visa incurs a 1.75%
bank fee surcharge. Do not collect taxes as a $33.00 administration fee
applies for processing refunds.
9.3 Advise details of the payment made together with full agency address,
contact
details & ABN to .
9.4 Queue your booking for ticket issue as follows:

QE/SYDA82615/55 |
Galileo
QEB/EDZ/55

Sabre

QP/JW6C55/201 |
FlightPasses will be issued and forwarded once payment has been received.
9.5
Once FlightPasses have been received in your office, ticket numbers must
be advised to all relevant airlines. Refer to your CRS for applicable entries, ie:
Amadeus

Galileo

Sabre
N*/TICKET NUMBERS |
Failure to do so will result in your client’s booking being cancelled.
10. Changes: Changes to flights, dates & routes within the validity and rules of the
FlightPass are permitted free of charge, and can be used for another eligible
FlightPass of the same value. FlightPasses cannot be changed if
flight details have been entered on the coupon so the coupons are left open by
default. Name changes are not permitted.
11. Refunds: Once issued, all FlightPasses are non-refundable. Unused, lost, stolen or
destroyed coupons CANNOT be replaced or refunded - LTIs/FOIs are not available.
We therefore recommend passengers have travel insurance that covers
lost/stolen/destroyed tickets. No refund is available for a higher value FlightPass used on a lower value route.
12. Passenger Briefing: Passengers must allow enough time to pay for applicable taxes at the carrier's
airport ticket counter prior to check-in.
